• Amydramine is a medicine that is used for cough relief and is also a decongestant.
Amydramine contains:
• Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride works by inhibiting the histamine-1 receptor sites, therefore temporarily causing pain relief and decreasing cough.
• Ammonium Chloride also acts as a decongestant and helps in reducing the viscosity of mucus.
• Menthol has a local analgesic effect which helps reduce the cough.
•Ambroxol can be used as an expectorant.
Amydramine is therefore used for the relief of cough and congestion during colds or allergies.

How to use amydramine:

Side Effects:
Amydramine cough Syrup may cause:
• Drowsiness, sedation, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and difficulty urinating.
Contraindications:
Amydramine cough syrup is contraindicated:
• If you are allergic to Diphenhydramine hydrochloride/ Ammonium Chloride/ Menthol, or any of the ingredients in this medicine.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Drugs Interactions:
Tell your doctor or pharmacist before taking Amydramine syrup:
• If you are taking, or have recently taken any other medications including prescription medicines, over-the-counter medicines, herbals, vitamins, and supplements.
• If you have taken an MAO inhibitor within the last 2 weeks.
