Artiz contains Cetirizine which belongs to a group of drugs called antihistamines.
Cetirizine is a second-generation antihistamine that reduces the natural chemical histamine in the body.
Indications:
Uses to treat:
• an allergic reaction, itching, and swelling caused by chronic urticaria (hives) and minimizes or eliminates the symptoms of perennial allergic rhinitis
• Seasonal allergic rhinitis
• Chronic idiopathic urticaria
• Allergic asthma
• Physical urticaria, and atopic dermatitis
Active Ingredient:
Cetirizine.
Side Effects:
• Dizziness, drowsiness.
• Tired feeling.
• Dry mouth.
• Sore throat, cough.
• Nausea, constipation.
• Headache.
Cautions:
• Do not use this medicine if :
• You are allergic (hypersensitive) to cetirizine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
• You have serious kidney problems.
• You have lactose intolerance.
• Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve, if they get worse, or if you also have a fever.
Interactions:
• Cetirizine is not expected to interact with other medicines.
• Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medicines.
