Dramylin Expect. Syrup - 120 ml

• Dramylin belongs to a group of medicines called expectorants and cough products used to provide relief from cough.
• Additionally, Dramylin may also help in providing relief from allergies and nasal congestion due to colds.
• This preparation is not to be used on children less than 6 months old unless you have been told otherwise by a doctor.

Indications:

• Cough and complications associated with hypersensitivity and allergic manifestations of upper respiratory tract illness as common cold, flu & bronchitis
• Hypochloremia
• Nausea, Vomiting, Motion sickness
• Insect bite

How To Use:

• Adult & child >12 yr: 5-10 mL, max 60 mL/24 hr.
• Children 6-12 yr: 2.5-5 mL, max 30 mL/24 hr, 2-5 yr 2.5 mL, max 15 mL/24 hr. All doses to be taken 4-6 hourly.

Active Ingredients:
Ammonium Chloride, Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride

Side Effects:
• Drowsiness.
• Thickening of mucus.
• Blurred vision.
• Confusion.
• Difficult or painful urination.
• Dizziness.
• Dry mouth, nose, or throat.
• Fast heartbeat.
• Increased sensitivity of the skin to the sun.
• Increased sweating.
• Loss of appetite, paradoxical reactions.
• Ringing or buzzing in ears.
• Rash.
• Stomach upset or pain, nausea, vomiting.

Cautions:
• • Dramylin Syrup should not be used if you have the following conditions:
• Severe liver impairment.
• Severe renal impairment.
• Angle-closure glaucoma.
• Premature or full-term neonates.
• Prostatic hypertrophy with obstructive uropathy.
• If you suffer from asthma or eczema.
• If you have ever had an allergic reaction to this or any other medicine.


Interactions:
• Masks ototoxicity produced by aminoglycosides.
• Increases gastric degradation of levodopa and decreases its absorption by reduction of gastric emptying.
