Ezipect contains Bromhexine HCl which is used as a mucolytic agent that reduces the sputum in the productive cough by altering the structure of the mucus in order to decrease the viscosity and thus will lead to the ease of mucus removal by the cilia or expectoration.
Ezipect 8 mg tablet uses:
• It's used for productive cough.
• It's used as a bronchial mucolytic.
How to use ezipect 8 mg:
Take 1 tablet three times daily.
All Active Ingredients:
Bromhexine HCl.
Points of interest:
• Swallow the whole tablet.
• It generally takes 6-12 hours for this medication to work.
• Antacids and milk may reduce the effect of other medications; take ezipect tablet 1 hour before or 2 hours after taking antacids or milk.
Side effects of ezipect tablet:
• Nausea.
• Vomiting.
• Diarrhea.
Cautions:
• Symptoms indicative of pneumonia or other lung infections are present
• Patient having gastric ulcer, liver or kidney problems.
• Contraindicated in patients less than 2 years old.
Interactions:
• Antibiotics: Ezipect tablets may increase the absorption of antibiotics when used together.
