Ketoconazole
It is an imidazole antifungal agent used in the prevention and treatment of a variety of fungal infections.
It works by preventing the synthesis of ergosterol, the fungal equivalent of cholesterol, thereby increasing membrane fluidity and preventing the growth of the fungus.
