Vermox 100mg contains Mebendazole.
It belongs to a class of drugs called Anthelmintics.
Vermox 100mg is an anthelmintic or anti-worm medication. It prevents newly hatched insect larvae (worms) from growing or multiplying in your body.

Indications:
• Vermox 100mg treats infections caused by worms such as whipworm, pinworm, roundworm, and hookworm.
•It used to treat infections caused by more than one of these worms at the same time.
How to use Vermox 100mg:
• Take one tablet of vermox twice daily (i.e. morning and evening) for three consecutive days. Your doctor will advise the appropriate dose depending on the type of worm infection.
Points of interest:
• If treatment is unsuccessful, repeat the course after 3 weeks.
Side effects of vermox:
• Nausea.
• Vomiting.
• Loss Of Appetite.
• Diarrhea.
• Stomach Pain.
• Gas.
• Rash.
Cautions:
Before you use Vermox, tell your doctor if you have ever had:
• Liver disease.
• Inflammatory bowel disease (including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis).
• Kidney disease.
• Neutropenia (low white blood cells).
Interactions of vermox tablets:
• Do not take Vermox if you are taking metronidazole (Flagyl) as the combination could cause a severe skin reaction that includes fevers, blistering red or purple rash, and skin peeling.
