Fenamic 250 mg are capsules that contain mefenamic acid, which is used to relieve pain and reduce inflammation in the body.Mefenamic acid belongs to non- steroidal anti- inflammatory drugs that prevent the secretion of substances that cause inflammation and pain in the body.
They are used to relieve mild to moderate pain resulting from various conditions such as headache, toothache, back pain, and cramps associated with menstruation.

- It is used with caution by the elderly due to the increased risk of bleeding or heart attack.
- Before using Fenamic 250 mg, tell your doctor if you suffer from the following conditions:
• Asthma.
• Bleeding/clotting problems.
• Blood disorders (such as anemia).
• Heart disease (such as a previous heart attack).
• High blood fat levels (cholesterol/triglycerides).
• Hypertension.
• Liver diseases.
• Stomach problems such as ulcers.
• Other medication and fenamic 250 mg:
- It is not used with:
• Aliskiren.
• Angiotensin- converting enzyme inhibitors (such as benazepril, lisinopril).
• Angiotensin II receptor blockers (such as losartan, valsartan).
• Corticosteroids (such as dexamethasone, prednisone).
• Methotrexate.
• Diuretics such as furosemide.
• The side effects:
- Stomach upset or nausea.
- Dizziness or drowsiness.
- Blurred vision.
