Ventol 4 mg 20 Tabs As Bronchodilator

Ventol tablets contain Salbutamol.
Salbutamol is used to relieve symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) such as coughing, wheezing and feeling breathless.
Ventol works by relaxing the muscles of the airways into the lungs, which makes it easier to breathe.

Active ingredients:
Salbutamol.

Indications:
Ventol tablets used for:
• Asthma, to relieve the narrowing of the airways.
• Chronic bronchitis.
• Emphysema.

How to use:
Take ventol 4mg tablets exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

Points of interest:
• If you forget to take a dose of Ventol, take it as soon as you remember.
• If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Then take your next dose at the usual time.
• Do not take two doses of Ventol tablets to make up for the missed dose.

Side effects of ventol 4mg:
• Tremor.
• Headache.
• Dizziness.
• Heart beating much faster than normal, palpitations.
• Feeling sick.
• Muscle cramps.

Cautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Salbutamol tablets if you have:
• An overactive thyroid gland (thyrotoxicosis).
• Diabetes.
• A history of heart disease, irregular heart rhythm or angina.

Interactions of ventol:
• Monoamine oxidase inhibitors e.g. tranylcypromine (for depression).
• Tricyclic antidepressants e.g. clomipramine (for depression).
• Beta-blockers such as propranolol.
• Corticosteroids.
• Diuretics.
• Digoxin (for heart problems).
• Xanthines such as theophylline, aminophylline (for asthma).
