Chymed Forte contains Trypsin and Chymotrypsin, which are enzymes, it works by breaking down proteins into smaller fragments, thereby making them available for absorption into the blood.
Once absorbed, it increases blood supply in the affected area and reduces swelling.
Indications:
• Helps relieve pain and swelling associated with post-operative wounds and inflammatory diseases.
Active Ingredient:
Chymotrypsin, Trypsin.
Side Effects:
• Chymotrypsin is POSSIBLY SAFE for most people when mixed with trypsin and used short-term.
• Rarely, chymotrypsin might cause an allergic reaction when taken by mouth. Symptoms include itching, shortness of breath, swelling of the lips or throat, shock, loss of consciousness, and death.
Cautions:
• Chymed Forte should be avoided if you are allergic to it or any of its components.
• You must always inform your doctor if you ever had problems with your liver, kidneys, or stomach (such as peptic ulcers).
