Follitrope contains follitropin as the active ingredient.
Follitropin is a hormone similar to follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) produced by the pituitary gland to be used as a fertility drug.
Follitrope injection is used as a fertility medicine to develop eggs in women who have not been able to become pregnant because of problems in ovulation.
It can also be used in therapeutic procedures such as in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Follitrope injection is also used as a fertility medicine to help men with low sperm counts produce more sperm.

Warnings and cautions:
