Cetirizine hydrochloride
It is an antihistamine that reduces the natural chemical histamine in the body.
Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and a runny nose.
It is also used to treat an allergic reaction, itching, and swelling caused by chronic urticaria (hives) and minimizes or eliminates the symptoms of perennial allergic rhinitis, seasonal allergic rhinitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria, allergic asthma, physical urticaria, and atopic dermatitis.

How to use:
Adults and children over 12 years old:

• Sore throat.

Warning and Precautions:
Tell the doctor if you have:
• Hypersensitivity to cetirizine HCL or any other drug ingredients.
• Glaucoma, increased pressure in the eye.
• Liver and kidney problems.
• An inability to empty the bladder.
• This drug may make you drowsy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs alertness.
• Avoid alcohol consumption.
Interactions:
• Codeine, hydrocodone.
• Alprazolam, lorazepam, zolpidem.
• Carisoprodol, cyclobenzaprine.
• Chlorpheniramine, diphenhydramine.
