Otrivin Adult 0.1% - Nasal Drops
Otrivin 0.1% Nasal Drops contain the active ingredient, Xylometazoline hydrochloride, which unblocks your nose by reducing swelling of the mucosa. It also helps sinus drainage so mucus can be drained out, easing painful sinus pressure.
xylometazoline is a sympathomimetic agent with marked alpha-adrenergic activity and is intended for use in the nose. It constricts the nasal blood vessels, thereby decongesting the mucosa of the nose and neighboring regions of the pharynx.
Indications:
• Nasal congestion.
• Acute rhinitis.
Active Ingredient:
Xylometazoline.
Side effects:
• Temporary burning.
• Stinging.
• Dryness in the nose.
• Runny nose.
• Sneezing may occur.
Cautions:
Patients are advised not to take decongestants for more than seven consecutive days.
How to use:
Put 2-3 drops of 0.1 solutions.
3-4 general applications per day are sufficient.
