Primalan tablets are tablets that contain the substance Mequitazine, which is used to treat the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, or other symptoms of allergies.
Mequitazine belongs to H1 antihistamine drugs, as histamine is responsible for allergic reactions as it is secreted in the body when exposed to allergens.
Primalan tablets provide effective, short-term relief from sneezing, watery eyes, itching, and runny nose caused by an allergic reaction in the body.
These tablets are used to treat hay fever, allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, and urticaria (a skin rash caused by allergies).

• Allergic rhinitis

How to use:
As instructed by your doctor, usually one tablet daily.
Warnings and precautions:
• Do not use Primalan tablets in the following cases:
- If you are breastfeeding.
- If you have low levels of potassium in your blood (hypokalemia).
- If you suffer from cardiovascular disease.
- If you are at risk of glaucoma (high eye pressure).
• Tell your doctor before taking Primalan tablets in the following cases:
- If you have serious liver disease (acute liver failure)
- If you suffer from epilepsy
- If you are over 65 years old
- If you have difficulty urinating.
Other Drugs and Primalan:
Tell your doctor about all the medications you are taking, especially these medications:
• Barbiturates, hypnotics, or opioid analgesics.
• Anxiolytics and antipsychotics.
• Some medications are used to treat nausea and vomiting (domperidone).
